Sculptural Jeweled Mosaics is the third piece in the Mosaic Series and is made from 24 x 24 sheets of glass cut into 11 parts.  Transparent cased cane was made in the hot studio using multiple colors, and then these were cut into short fragments to stand up on the white glass.  The color pattern was designed for each part of the piece.  The pieces were then slumped and mounted on the wall giving a beautiful multi-level arrangement.

The Mosaic Series is an exploration of blown/warm glass to explore mosaics.  Cross-Over Series is when the color setup is done in either the hot or warm glass studio, and the final form is created in the other studio.
