Pattern bars were created using black, white, and grey glass and then were cut at odd angles and intentionally placed chaotically.  They were then allowed to flow within a boundary.  The metamorphosis of going from flat sheets of glass to layered and deformed but all in one plane is what makes this dramatic wall piece.

Metamorphosis was the first piece in the Boundary Series.  A kiln-form exploration of boundaries.
