Understanding the Terms & Policies that Glassblowing Houston Lives By

There are a number of terms and policies you should understand.

Data Security Policy

We take our client’s data and its protection seriously. All data is encrypted with the same level of security provided by financial institutions.  We do not store or retain personal information about our clients including but not limited to credit card numbers.

Lease, Lease-to-own, or Layaway Plan

We are happy to provide our clients with Lease, lease-to-own, or layaway options. You may take home any piece and pay 20% of its value/month to lease it or until you have completed the purchase. All installs and uninstalls are a fee separate from the lease or lease-to-own options. The returned art must be in the original condition, or full payment for the piece is required. In the Lay-Away Plan, the studio retains the art, and the client receives it upon full payment.

Privacy Policy

When you purchase art or make glass with us, you Join our Beyond Glass Community. We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not sell or give away any of the information you provide. We use it to send you announcements, news, and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Refund Policy

There are no refunds for reserved classes, experiences, or workshops booked online in the studio. If you need to change your time more than 72 hours ahead of time, we are happy to help you. Less notice does not allow enough time for someone else to book the vacant spot.

Return Policy

If you purchase art glass from us and want to return it, you can do that within 30 days from purchase as long as you have a receipt and it is in its original condition. The refund will be in the form of studio credit to apply towards a similar or higher-priced piece. The customer will pay for return shipping if needed. All sales are final on discount items, sale items, and “seconds.” We will install wall pieces for an additional fee.

Shipping Policy

We currently ship only within the continental United States. When purchasing online, you can select your vendor and insurance. We do our best to ship within three days of your order. Shipping time is usually three-six days in the continental U.S.

Safety Policy

It is not that what we do isn’t safe. It is just that there are lots of opportunities to get hurt. We work with hot, sharp, bright light and particulate matter daily. We are committed to safety in every decision and action we make. Because we care, we actively foster a culture centered around zero accidents with our staff and customers.
